Fit Guide

Find Your Ideal Frame

Follow These Easy Steps

Step 1: What's My Face Shape?

Look in the mirror, and compare the length of your face to its width. If your face is longer than it is wide, you have a heart or oval shaped face.If your face is about as wide as it is long, then you have a round or square face shape. If your forehead and jawline are about the same width, you’re probably a square. If your cheekbones are the widest part of your face, you’re probably a round. If you have a long face with a rounded chin, you’re probably an oval. If you’re chin ends in a point, you’re probably a heart. If you’re not sure, just email us a photo and we’ll see if we can help.

Step 2: What's The Right Size?

Now that you know you’re a square, round, oval, or heart, let’s figure out the ideal size for your face. Eyewear sizes come in three numbers, like our Buenos Aires in a 50-20-145. The first number is the lens width, the second number is the bridge width, and the third number is the temple (side) length.

Step 3: Custom Fit

If your frames ever get bent out of shape (which can happen in transit, in a hot car, being worn on top of your head, or other hot environment when not actually on your face), our premium acetate frames can be returned to the proper shape by following the instructions below. We recommend that an optician do this for you, and offer this service gratis (just pay shipping) if you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself.

Step 4: I Still Need Help!

If you have purchased a pair that doesn’t quite fit right, don’t lose hope. Snap a picture of you wearing the frames (ideally front and side), and send us the pic and an explanation to let us know what doesn’t feel right to or text to 1-844-MAHO-SUN . Our professional in-house stylist will evaluate and recommend new options to fit your face. Remember, we offer free exchanges and shipping both ways, so it’s at no risk to you!
